Sometimes our burdens are too big to carry alone. We may be swept up in the overwhelm of big emotions like anger, shame and worthlessness…on the other hand, we may shut down in the numbness of disconnection. These wounds of the past become so engrained that it feels like the pain has always been there and always will be. On top of that, you may have tried many approaches to feel better only to find yourself at square one.

When first embarking on any new healing process, it’s normal to feel hesitant, confused, overwhelmed. The constellation of problems or symptoms that brought you here can feel like a knotted tangled web – no matter how much you stare at it, it never starts to unravel on its own. Even thinking about where to begin is a daunting task that leaves you feeling frustrated and ready to give up altogether, retreating back into the usual safe way of doing things.

The good news is, it doesn’t matter where in the web we start. By tugging just slightly on any thread with curiosity and openness, many things can happen. You may uncover new and surprising connections between the pain of the present and the wounds of the past. You may generate novel and creative insights that help you solve an issue that has been troubling you. With patience and persistence, you may even create enough space for your wisest self to emerge and flourish.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Am I the only one who feels like this?” I am here to tell you you are not alone. In fact, just because you are here reading this a part of you knows it doesn’t have to be this way.

My practice is founded on the belief that every human possesses the innate intuitive capacity for healing. My role is to help you regain access to the part of you that already knows the answers you need to take the next step forward.

In my therapeutic work, I draw from a range of approaches, blending my favourite aspects of emotion-focused, motivational and person-centred therapeutic modalities. If you are ready to start untangling your own personal web but aren’t sure where to start, I can help you explore your next steps.
