I work with adults and couples who want to look closely at these patterns and what keeps them going. I also connect well with people who spend a lot of energy reading the room, masking, or recovering after social situations, whether or not a diagnosis is part of the picture.
My style is reflective, patient, and curious. I listen closely, ask questions, and pay attention to the body and emotions as much as the explanation. I can be more or less active depending on the person and the moment. Humour has a place too, once it feels natural between us.
With couples, I’m interested in the cycle that keeps pulling both people back into the same conflict, rather than deciding who is right. I was born in India and raised in BC, which has made me attentive to family roles, belonging, and the pull between loyalty and independence, without assuming culture explains everything about a person. I currently offer online counselling for individuals and couples in British Columbia and across Canada.
