Our minds and bodies are often described as separate entities, but can also be understood as two halves of a “whole”. The mind can’t function without a body, and the body is hollow without the mind.
Through a mindfulness-based approach, I am sensitive to the fact that we perceive the world and generate experience in our minds, but this experience is also felt through our senses in the body.
Using narrative and cognitive-based approaches, we can collaboratively explore different patterns that we might feel are governing our lives. In the process, we can build strategies and resilience in overcoming some of life’s great challenges.
The life cycle describes the beginning and end of our life journey. However, within that grand cycle, there are many mini-cycles of change and transition.
Sometimes, we can find ourselves in the middle of some of these cycles and feel stuck.
I am honored to work with you and be a part of your journey towards healing.
Together, we can work through the negative cycles and build positive cycles of change that can promote a healthier sense of self, and greater awareness of the mind, and body.
